The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, has discussed in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, with his Qatari counterpart, Ali Al-Marri, strengthening of cooperation between Libya and Qatar in various fields, especially in the labour sector, such as training, rehabilitation, and organizing the labour market.

The meeting between Al-Abed and Al-Marri came on the sidelines of their participation in the 5th session of the Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers held in Baku, where they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the areas of the labour sector, and form a joint technical committee to study issues of common interest, according to a statement by the Ministry of Labour.

During his speech at the conference, Al-Abed stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in all fields, especially in the fields of work, employment and vocational rehabilitation, calling for cooperation among the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This is to enhance the concept of international Islamic solidarity and the global presence to preserve the rights of the peoples of Muslim countries.
