The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has met with the South Korean Ambassador to Libya, to discuss the return of the embassy to work from Tripoli.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry described the meeting as “fruitful,” as talk about strengthening joint cooperation in various fields, including supporting Korean companies in development and commercial projects in the country.
South Korea stood by Libya during the devastating Storm Daniel disaster that struck the country last September, as it announced the provision of two million dollars in humanitarian aid.
