The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Immigration Affairs formed an interim committee for illegal migrants stranded in the immigration detention centres in the areas of clashes in Tripoli.
"The committee will be tasked to mobilize stranded migrants to safe zones," the ministry explained via Facebook, adding that the undersecretary requested the organizations concerned with immigration and the United Nations to provide the basic material needs for housing the migrants.
The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency has announced Thursday the relocation of 322 illegal immigrants from Ein Zara shelter because of armed clashes in the area.
