The Ministry of Transport has announced that 77% of the maintenance work on the Wadi Al-Athal Bridge linking Al-Aziziya and Nalut has been completed.
The maintenance work carried out by the Transport Projects Implementation Authority is still ongoing, according to the Ministry, noting that the remaining work is limited to installing lighting and spreading the last layer of asphalt.
It is noteworthy that the bridge was blown up during the military operation known as “Fajr Libya” in 2014.
