The Misrata Security Directorate has called on citizens and residents living in the city, not to leave their homes, unless for urgent matters, after torrential rainfall, in which some of the city’s streets were completely flooded.

The National Center for Meteorology, on Monday, warned in a bulletin, of the threat of upcoming thunderstorms, which are expected to lead to flooding in low areas and local low lying lands, due to severe rainfall predictions, calling on citizens to take all reasonable precautions to protect their property from flooding.
