Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita discussed with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio issues of common concern, including the developing situation in Libya.
A statement by the Moroccan Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said that Bourita and Di Maio had a phone conversation ahead of the Paris Conference scheduled to take place on Friday and discussed several pressing issues in the region, including the Libyan peace process.
It may be worth noting that Di Maio stressed on Tuesday during a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Rome the necessity for all foreign fighters to exit Libya and for holding the elections on the specified date.
