Libya's representative to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, discussed with his Turkish counterpart, Sadat Onal, developments of the political situation and efforts to reach a comprehensive consensus on electoral laws.
During the meeting on Friday in New York, the Turkish delegate reaffirmed Turkey's keenness to support the democratic path with Libyan leadership and ownership, which would support the stability of Libya and the entire region.
Al-Sunni and his Turkish counterpart also discussed Libya's public relations at the United Nations, bilateral relations, and the political process between the two countries.
