Public Prosecution files lawsuits against defendants accused of seizing funds from NCB

The Public Prosecution has filed public lawsuits against 25 defendants, including branch managers at the National Commercial Bank, and staff, corporate account management commissioners; after their involvement in appropriating the bank's funds.

The Attorney General’s Office explained on its Facebook account that the Public Prosecutor of Al-Bayda Prosecution had initiated investigation procedures into the activities of a criminal group.

The group hacked the database of the National Commercial Bank, for the purpose of falsifying bank account data, tampered with figures exceeding actual credit balances, and made financial transfers exceeding twenty million dinars, it added.
