The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of the Chairman of the Board of the Akakus Oil Company, on charges of abuse of authority and failing in preserving and protecting public funds.
12 million dinars contract for catering services was concluded without giving priority to the Oil Fields Supply Company, the Public Prosecutor's Office said, saying the cost of the best services does not reach the price of the contract concluded according to the offers submitted.
