A local citizen from Tobruk in the east of Libya has caused the interruption of telephone and internet services, in addition to the cessation of the bank and passport systems in the city due to random digging.
The Communications Office explained that this malfunction resulted in the disruption of communications and the Internet service for about 3500 subscribers in the downtown area to Al-Manara district, stressing that the maintenance teams are working to the fullest extent to be able to restore the services by Sunday.
The office urged citizens not to dig indiscriminately before taking permission from the Offices of Communications, the Water and Sanitation, Electricity, Transport, and others.
