The Roads and Bridges Authority announced, on Tuesday, that its Emergency Committee in the Southern Region had finished assessing the damage resulting from the torrential floods in the region in preparation for issuing its final report.
The authority said in a statement that the inventory process was based on the assignment of the head of the authority’s emergency room, Hussein Suwaidan, beginning from the city of Sabha to the Wadi Al-Hayat line, passing through several municipalities.
As part of the inventory efforts, the committee met with the mayors of the municipalities of Ubari, Al-Ghuraifa, Bint Baya, Ghat, Tahala, and Al-Awainat.
