Sabha Medical Centre declared on Tuesday a state of high alert, demanding all workers, medical and paramedical personnel to report to work immediately.

The emergency declaration in the centre came hours after the announcement of the so-called Dignity Operation leadership, to launch a military operation in the southwest of the country, on the pretext of protecting and securing the southern population from "terrorists and criminal gangs," according to the statement released yesterday.
