Sabha Security Directorate announced on Saturday that sand dunes caused the closure of a main road in the city of Sabha, calling on citizens to avoid using it.
A wireless signal was received from the Al-Zighen Police Station to the security operations room stating that sand dunes closed the road after the Al-Zighen area gate for a distance of 90 kilometers, according to a statement issued by the directorate.
The directorate urged truck and car drivers and travelers to avoid using this road after it was closed, due to the lack of visibility.
