The Presidential Council (PC), acting as the supreme commander of the Libyan Army, met with Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad on Sunday to discuss military developments in the western region, according to an official statement.
The council emphasized the importance of ensuring security stability in all regions and supporting security agencies in fulfilling their duties.
Major General Mohamed Lakri, Chief of Border and Vital Installations Guards, also attended the meeting and provided a detailed briefing on border security measures and efforts to address potential threats.
The discussions included an assessment of the military and security situation in the city of Ghadames.
