The Council of Tabu Tribes announced the continuation of the ceasefire on their part in the city of Sabha.
The Council said the ceasefire will allow the city's residents to participate in the activities of the Libyan National Forum and to provide a climate suitable for them to raise their views on the issues that had come to light, stressing the importance of dialogue as the only way out of the crisis in the country.
The Libyan National Forum held its first meeting in Sabha on Tuesday after previous rounds held in several Libyan cities.
