The head of the Tunisian General Labour Union, Noureddine Taboubi, has confirmed that dealing with the illegal immigration issue is not only through security solutions.
Al-Tabouni, during his speech at the 76th anniversary of the 1947 battle against the French colonialists, called for protecting the Tunisian borders through a tripartite agreement with its neighbors Libya and Algeria.
Tunisia has the right to protect its common borders with Algeria and Libya, he added, noting that his country does not have borders with Niger, Mali and other sub-Saharan countries, which are a source of illegal immigration.
