Tunisia has expressed its full solidarity with Libya following the fuel explosion in the Bint Baya area in southern Libya, the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.

A statement by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said that it is closely following, with direct instructions from President Kais Saied the repercussions of this tragic accident, and is in contact with officials in Libya to help.

It said it had placed Tunisian hospitals and specialized medical staff at the disposal of the Libyans, and harnessed all possibilities to treat the injured.

The Libyan Health Ministry said it would transfer critical cases to Tunisia, starting on Tuesday.
