Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay has affirmed his country support for the Libyan Presidential Council's efforts to achieve stability, leading to holding elections according to a constitutional basis agreed upon by all parties.

This came during his meeting with the member of the Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi, who is visiting Ankara, to discuss the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.

For his part, Al-Lafi stressed the council’s continuation to achieve lasting stability in Libya by mobilizing local and international support to achieve the Libyans' dream of establishing a civil and democratic state, as he put it.
