The Turkish Ambassador to Egypt, Salih Mutlu Şen, said that the visit of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan ended well and successfully in Cairo, indicating that the Egyptian authorities provided them with all support.
The Turkish ambassador also said in a television interview that the Egyptian and Turkish leaders agreed on the necessity of preserving Libya’s unity and holding transparent elections, pointing out that the conversation about this issue will develop further during the coming period.
"We are working closely to achieve peace and stability in the region for the well-being of the Egyptian people and the peoples of the region in light of the tensions witnessed by many Arab countries such as Palestine, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq and Syria." He added.
