Sources from Sabha said that two people were killed in a fresh attack that included the use of heavy weapons on the 6th Infantry Brigade on Monday night, affirming that explosions were heard throughout the city.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of Sabha Medical Centre, Osama Al-Wafi, confirmed that three random shells fell on the campus of the Centre without causing any human losses.

The new clashes disrupted two days of uneasy calm after the previous attack on the 6th Brigade Saturday, near the city's historical castle.

Since the beginning of February, clashes have been taking place now and then in the city between the 6th Infantry Brigade of Awlad Suleiman tribe and an armed group from the Tabu tribe, amid strenuous endeavors to defuse the tribal tension.
