The Public Cleaning Service Company of Misrata announced a suspension of work in all its service centers as of Sunday.

The spokesperson for the company, Khayri Bait Al-Mal, told local media that the temporary suspension comes in protest against the decision of the Ministry of Local Government to cut the salaries of the company's employees, which they consider to be unfair and prejudice against the workers in the public cleaning services in Libya.

He added that the decision comes at a time when the company is at its top performance and success despite the circumstances the country is experiencing.
