A group of 41 Libyan law enforcement officers completed an advanced training programme aimed at combating drug trafficking and organised crime.

The programme, organised by EUBAM Libya and the Anti-Narcotics General Administration (ANGA), focused on transnational organised crime, criminal analysis, and modern investigative techniques such as controlled deliveries, electronic surveillance, and financial analysis to counter money laundering.

Delivered by advisors from Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Bulgaria, the initiative is part of an ongoing collaboration to enhance Libya’s operational capabilities. This marks the second session of the programme, following a successful inaugural training in September.

First Lieutenant Muhannad Al-Idrisi from the Ras Ajdir Border Office praised the training, saying it provided "valuable advice and modern skills" to dismantle drug trafficking networks.
