Libya’s top religious body, the Fatwa House, has condemned the attack on Tripoli-based Foreign Ministry, demanding all Libyans for unity to confront the criminals, extremists and outlaws.

“We express our deep condolences for the families of the victims of this treacherous attack, carried out by criminals on the Foreign Ministry.” A statement by the Fatwa House read.

The attack, which left three people dead and 21 others wounded, was also condemned by the Presidential Council, the Ministry of Defense, the UN Mission, the US Embassy, the German Ambassador, and the UK Ambassador.
