The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, participated on Tuesday in the 41st meeting of the Steering Committee of Heads of States and Governments of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD).
Menfi's participation came in response to an official invitation he received from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the current Chairman of the Steering Committee, according to the Media Office of the Head of the Presidential Council.
The Head of the United Republic of the Comoros, the President of the African Union, the President of Algeria, the President of Senegal, the President of Equatorial Guinea, the Head of the African Union Commission, and the Executive Director of the African Union Development Agency also participated in the meeting, which was held via Zoom.
The Presidential Council's media office explained that this meeting comes in implementation of the Steering Committee's joint endeavors to achieve the aspirations of the goals of the 2063 development agenda, and to meet the aspirations of the African peoples toward a prosperous and secure future.
