The spokesman of the Misrata municipality, Usama Badi, said the municipality demands compensations for the Misrata residents who were affected by the inhuman Gaddfi Brigades attack in 2011 on Misrata, which was led mainly by Tawergha volunteering fighters, adding that all the criminals and perpetrators of the crimes done then must also be brought to justice.

Badi confirmed that the road of the reconciliation project between Misrata and Tawergha is still long and it is very early to reach a final text regarding the agreement items because reconciliation is a national project and every party should contribute to it under the supervision of the government.

On Wednesday, two delegations from the two cities signed a reconciliation agreement in Tunisia, ordering the return of the displaced to Tawergha and the formation of a joint security force to that aim along with compensations for both sides.
