The 16-round of the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs draw has placed Tripoli-based Al-Ahli against the Egyptian Al-Makasa in the draw ceremony, which took place in the African Football Federation’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Thursday.

The draw included 8 teams that qualified for the 16-round of the CAF Confederation Cup and other 8 teams that joined the competition after departing from the 16-round of the African Champions League.

The AFF said on its official website that the16-round first leg matches will take place on May 6,7,8 and the second leg one will be on 17-18 of the same month.

Tripoli-based Al-Ahli has joined the CAF Confederation Cup after leaving the African Champions League’s 16-round upon losing the first leg match against ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast in Abidjan 2-0 and winning in the second leg game 2-1 in Tunisia.
