The Libyan U-20 national soccer team has qualified to the final round of the U-20 qualifiers that lead to the U-20 AFCON, Zambia 2017.

The Libyan team qualified after a decision made by the FIFA.
The African Football Federation sent a letter to the Libyan Football Federation informing it that Libya’s team has qualified after the FIFA froze the activities of Benin’s team over failure by the Benin Football Federation to fulfill its commitment to the FIFA.

In the next round, Libya’s U-20 team will play the winner of the game between Cameroon and Zimbabwe.
