The Investigations Bureau of the Criminal Investigation Department revealed Thursday the details of the murder of Emimen family in Sooq Al-Khamis, Al-Khums, which shook the Libyan public opinion on November 26.

The bureau said the murderer is a member of the family, named as Mohammed Ehmida Emimen, and he was the one son left in the house alive after four members of his family were slayed.

Mohammed killed his father, two brothers and one sister on November 26.

"The writings that were found referring to IS on the house walls in the morning of the murder were written by Mohammed to drive accusations away from him." The bureau added.

It added that the murderer has now been sent to the Tripoli-based Attorney General Office for legal proceedings.
