Afriqiyah Airways

Afriqiyah Airways has recovered an aircraft that had been leased by Turkish Airlines for the past eight years, after maintaining and equipping it with all documents.

The company said on its Facebook page, Friday that the  Airbus Afriqiyah Airways plane left Sabiha International Airport in Istanbul on Friday evening, heading to Mitiga Airport, after eight years lease to Turkish Airlines.

Afriqiyah Airways confirmed that its leased plane returns to Tripoli after it has been maintained and all its documents have been prepared, to join the company's fleet, and to enter the operating schedule upon arrival, adding that this plane is long-distance, with a capacity of 291 seats.
