The Criminal Investigation Agency, the west branch, reported Sunday that the investigation into the case of the children of Al-Sharshari family is currently ongoing, noting that it is too early to uncover the full extent of this crime.
The Information Office of the Agency pointed out through its Facebook page that it is not responsible for any information released by the media, accusing some media outlets of trying to sow confusion in the public opinion in a manner to serve their agenda.
It warned of the consequences of jumping to conclusions and pointing fingers at certain parties before completing the investigation, calling on all citizens not to pay attention to rumours that could set confusion to the case.
