The Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, made a phone call on Tuesday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, stressing Libya’s support for the Palestinian people in their just cause.
A statement by the Government of National Unity quoted the Palestinian President as expressing his gratitude for the solidarity of the Libyan people and government with the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that the call between Dbeibah and Abbas discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian scene, and the necessity of working with all regional and international parties to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
They stressed the importance of providing relief and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and securing water and electricity supplies and basic materials.
