The newly appointed EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, has called on all key parties to participate in the initiative of UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily.
Orlando made this statement after his meeting with Presidential Council President Mohamed Menfi in Tripoli on Sunday.
"We discussed a wide range of topics central to the growing partnership between the European Union and Libya," the EU ambassador wrote on his X account.
He emphasized the bloc's unwavering support for the unity, stability, and prosperity of Libya.
