Libyan Army Border Guard Chief Major General Mohammed Lakri met with the head of the European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM), Jan Vesetal, on Monday to discuss support for border guards in western Libya.
According to EUBAM’s official Facebook page, the meeting focused on providing training for newly recruited personnel and offering guidance on methods to improve border security.
The post highlighted the mutual cooperation between the EUBAM and the Libyan Border Guard, emphasizing the contributions of the former in enhancing training facilities for the Ministry of Defence and conducting training sessions and other capacity-building activities in leadership and management.
