The head of Hamas's Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, has expressed the appreciation of the Palestinian people for Libya's position rejecting normalization with the Israel.
This came in a phone call received by the head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, during which the two parties discussed the latest developments related to the Palestinian issue, according to the media office of the HCS.
Haniyeh praised the position of the HCS and the official state institutions, noting that the recent Israeli attempt to penetrate this honorable Libyan position failed.
For his part, Takala affirmed the firmness of the Libyan positions towards the Palestinian issue.
