The British ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, has called on Libyan leaders to draw inspiration from the experience of the Belfast Agreement between Britain and Ireland.
“25 years since the Belfast Good Friday Agreement, reflecting on the courage and compromise shown by the leaders and people of Northern Ireland in order to achieve peace. I hope Libya's leaders are inspired by this example - I know I am”, Hurndall tweeted.
