The Minister of Interior of the Presidential Council, Abdul Salam Ashour, said “concessions must be made, although painful, if we to get the homeland to a safe shore.”

His statement came after a day of ISIS claims of responsibility for the checkpoint 60 attack, south of Ajdabiya.

"We may agree or disagree politically with those who died in the terrorist bombing, but the fight on terrorism remains a common core among the sons of this nation", the minister stated.

Ashour added that this attack is not the first and will not be the last, unless the Libyans join together, warning that Libyans will fall easy prey to terrorism if they remain divided.
