The Interior Ministry of the Presidential Council (PC) stressed that life in Tripoli's districts except in the southern ones is normal and security conditions are under control.
The ministry explained that it had set up additional security points and that the clashes are confined to the outskirt of southern Tripoli, according to the ministry on Facebook Friday.
It also called on the public not to approach the locations of clashes and to report any suspected objects that might be unexploded ordnance.
