The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency is preparing for holding the 2nd international conference on the challenges of rehabilitation, to be held in early October of this year.
The conference comes at a time when the country is flooded of drugs and psychotropic substances, by international and local drug gangs, targeting the Libyan society, its security and stability, the head of the conference, Mohammed Al-Fitouri, said in a statement to the Libyan News Agency.
The conference is organized in cooperation with the Criminal Investigation Agency, the Department of Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior, and the universities of Gharyan and Tobruk, with the participation of a number of security directorates.
