The Italian Embassy in Libya has announced the provision of support for the Man-made River Authority, at a value of 2 million euros, after the water pipeline blast in Ajdabiya.
The embassy confirmed in a tweet that it was "deeply touched by the images coming from Ajdabiya after an incident involving a Man-Made River Authority pipeline.”
It added that, through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Italian embassy will support the Man-Made River Authority to restore the Ajdabiya Reservoir with a financial contribution of 2 million euros.
