Libya's Ambassador to the United Nations, Al-Tahir Al-Sunni, is in talks to mobilize support for the popular movement advocating for an end to the Israeli violations against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Al-Sunni is conducting meetings with the Arab Group in New York and representatives of Russia, China, and the United States within the framework of Libya’s presidency of the Arab bloc.
Discussions focused on practical proposals to implement the General Assembly and Security Council resolutions regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Al-Sunni affirmed Libya’s continued efforts to provide all possible support to confront the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and their just cause.
