Libya has participated in the 2nd meeting of the Legal Advisory Committee specialized in providing advice to support efforts and endeavors aimed at redressing the Palestinian people.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sunday, in implementation of the outcomes of the Arab summit held in Algeria last year, according to the Arab league website.

During the meeting, the representative of Palestine, Ambassador Ammar Hijazi, was elected as chairman of the committee, as the meeting also included the countries of Jordan, Bahrain, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco and Yemen.
