The Food and Drug Control Center in Libya has rejected several Egyptian agricultural shipments for not complying with health conditions.
Sources at the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation explained that these shipments did not obtain an export permit from the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine.
The sources confirmed in a statement to Cairo 24 newspaper that the rejected shipments are smuggled from the borders to be illegally exported to Libya, noting that the Agricultural Quarantine will discuss the problem with the Libyan side.
