Security services at the crossing border with Tunisia have arrested a man wanted on charges of murdering his brother, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday.

The police of Hay Al-Sinaiyah district received a report last Tuesday concerning a man that was shot dead by his brother in Duraibi area.

The suspect was caught while trying to flee to Tunisia, the Interior Ministry confirmed, indicating that the offender confessed to the crime after interrogation and admitted that he had shot his brother with a "Kalashnikov" rifle.

The man will face charges of premeditated murder and possession of a weapon without a license, the Interior Minister confirmed.
