The Man-Made River Authority, Al-Hasawna System - Al-Jafara Plain, announced, on Saturday, a power outage in the largest fields, and the entire wells and pumping station in the eastern field were out of service, expecting this to cause a decline in daily production rates.
The authority indicated, in a statement, that it had taken the necessary operational measures and coordinated with the General Electricity Company in this regard, as the Operation and Maintenance Department teams in the southern region began recharging the electrical stations supplying the field, and began operating the main wells and pumps gradually.
