The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, received on Monday, the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mihraje, to discuss ways to reach consensuses between the active parties in Libya, so that they can move forward towards the elections.
The meeting discussed political developments in Libya and ways to end the political impasse, in addition to issues of common concern.
Menfi praised France’s important role in supporting and strengthening the stability of the region, efforts for the human rights of peoples and humanitarian law, and ways of joint cooperation to achieve this.
