The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has discussed with the Special Envoy of the French President to Libya, Paul Soler, the positive developments of the political and economic conditions taking place in Libya, including motivating institutions to move forward with the political process to reach elections.
This came during a meeting held on Monday at the headquarters of the Presidential Council in Tripoli, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje.
The French envoy conveyed the greetings of French President Emmanuel Macron, describing the steps taken by Menfi as “courageous and positive.”
For his part, Menfi stressed the importance of improving the economic situation, which requires completing further steps in cooperation with the United Nations mission.
