The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, met on Wednesday, with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Mihraje, and his accompanying delegation.
Both sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, the developments of the PC plan to reach elections in 2023, through the economic and reconciliation paths, and the evaluation of the security and military track, according to the PC media office.
The meeting comes a day after the meeting of the Defense and Security Council, which was held on Tuesday, headed by the PC head, Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army Menfi, and in the presence of the head of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Defense Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, and a number of officials, to review the security situation in the western region and the city of Zawiya.
