The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has discussed the political situation in Libya and practical steps to address the political impasse in coordination with the United Nations mission in Libya.
This came during his meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday in New York City.
Menfi confirmed support for reaching consensus regarding the Central Bank that takes into account the political agreement and the road map, addresses unilateral decisions, and continues to work with international partners to achieve peace and stability in Libya.
