The Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday evening, to participate in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit.
Upon Menfi's arrival at King Khalid International Airport, he was received by Deputy Emir of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Chargé d'Affaires at the Kingdom's Embassy in Libya Ahmed Al-Shehri, and Chargé d'Affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Saudi Arabia Fateh Bishna, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries participating in the summit will discuss ways to stop the genocide in Gaza, the brutal Israeli aggression on Lebanon, protect civilians and support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, in addition to unifying positions and pressuring the international community to take serious action to stop the ongoing attacks as well as find sustainable solutions that guarantee stability and peace in the region.
