Nardos Bekele, member of the Steering Committee of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD), presented to the head of the Presidential Council a proposal for a strategic partnership project between Libya and NEPAD.

The project aims to provide technical support to the sectors concerned with infrastructure, education, food security, economy, and small and medium enterprises.

The media office of the Presidential Council stated that during the meeting, the results of the Bekele’s recent visit to Libya last April and her meeting with Libyan officials were followed up on ways to activate cooperation between the two sides.

NEPAD is an economic development program of the African Union, which undertakes the implementation of a number of development projects and programs in the African countries and improves the quality of education and training.
